Wheeler Extended Family Portraits

If you’ve followed along for many many years now, you will remember this post from six (six?!?!?!) years ago where I photographed Audra and Phillip’s wedding.  Well last year I had the chance to photograph them again plus their extended family! I love when I get to see families after the wedding day for portrait photography!  And can we talk about this amazing gene pool here??? Y’all are some good-looking people!

Abigail Class of 2018

Oh y’all. This shoot had me in my feelings!! I think I sniffled and wiped away tears at least 17 times while editing.  That saying the days go by slow and the years fast never felt more true.  How else can you explain how I now get hair and make-up tips from the toddler I once carried on my hip???

It has been a joy and delight to watch Abigail over the years. Our families have been friends for decades and to see her become an engaging, winsome, young lady brings a smile to my face.  She is friendly and creative and joyful!  Abigail, I am thrilled to watch the story of your life continue to unfold.  So much love to you sweet girl. Your Auntie is cheering you on from the sidelines!

Melissa - Fort Worth Senior Class of 2017

One of the things I have loved so much about teaching photography to High School students is meeting really amazing young people like Melissa!  Melissa was very relaxed as we strolled along Magnolia Street in Fort Worth and chatted in between shots. We connected over our mutual love of Brene Brown's work.  Melissa, you are a beautiful, intelligent, young lady and an absolute stunner in front of the camera.  I so loved your shoot. Best of luck to you as you start the college years!
