I have soooo enjoyed the fall-ish weather we've had this week! So in a celebration of longing for fall (and denying that spring has sprung) I thought I'd showcase Melissa & Ben's fall wedding I second shot late last year with Adana of Dysart Photography. The details are such a fun match to this cool creative couple. I loved that they marched to their own beat, and had a ton of fun on their wedding day! Enjoy!
They used the book The Princess Bride for the ring bearer to hold the rings in as he walked in; cool huh?
Check out the bride's shoes!
Rustic details contrasting with beauty always compels me. And don't worry, the dress didn't get a smidge of dirt on it :)
While Melissa was wearing her dress, there was a really cute moment where her sister and mom were huddled over a cell phone watching a video of how to lace the back of the dress.
Melissa's jewelry kind of rocked; the perfect blend of classiness with punk attitude!
Love Melissa's Dad's expression after seeing her for the first time.
The handsome groom.
Catching moments like these just make my day! Melissa, practicing her vows with a very captive audience.
Isn't the expression on Ben's mom's face priceless?
This candy buffet was like none I'd ever seen before, so very creative & perfect for a fall themed wedding!
