Project Runway fans, will love this event! The Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth hosted Project Goodwill, a Fashion Show inspired by the popular TV show with a similar name. The fundraiser dinner event features a contest for aspiring designers from the community, who compete by designing head to toe looks created solely from items purchased at a local Goodwill. Aaaaaaand, their budget can’t exceed $100. The creativity displayed completely blew me away. Everyday items like wallpaper, pie tins, and rulers were transformed into wearable fashions.
Guests arrived at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth to enjoy a live auction and mingling during a cocktail hour prior to the dinner.
Congratulations to the winning looks! From left to right, 3rd place, 1st place, and 2nd place.
Hats of to Shay Johnson (right) pictured next to one of the evening's lovely judges. She and her team did an amazing job planning the event!
