Today you get to meet the second amazing couple I photographed at the Cedar Hill Heritage House: Kate and Zach. This is the same dress Kate wore when she married Zach 10 years ago.
When Joanna was done with Kate's make-up, my. jaw. dropped. open. STUNNING!
Anyone besides me think she looks like a redheaded Sandra Bullock here?
F-a-v-o-r-i-t-e!
Nothing like the anticipation of seeing your bride in her wedding dress.
Zach and Kate both gave a lot of thought to their accessories. That's right, those super cute frames of Zach were intentional. My favorite "prop" of Zach's? His smile. He couldn't keep from smiling every time he looked at Kate...sweetest thing ever!
Kate and Zach's look had vintage hints, so it was fun to get to use the sepia tone a bit more than I normally would.
How I love capturing moments like this!
Is that another favorite? Why yes it is :)
Gorgeous model bride, cathedral length veil, beautiful smile; could I ask for more?
During this next series of photos I think I said something like: DON'T MOVE, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
Seriously, I could photograph this beauty all day long.
Kate brought a pair of boots and one of her dining room chairs from home. She said she thought it would be cool for her kids to be able to see and recognize the chair in the photo. I like how she thinks!
A few indoor shots completed the session nicely. I think Zach looks especially dashing in this shot!
Kate and Zach, you are quite a stunning couple! Here's to 10 more years, and many more after that!
A BIG thank you to Zach, Kate, Ana, and Kenroy who drove all the way from Oklahoma to be a part of this shoot! Also thank you to the Cedar Hill Heritage House (look for a blog post on this venue in the spring), and Joanna for her crazy good make-up skills!
