Different cultures around the world, have different ways of naming babies. In the Nigerian culture, the child has an official naming ceremony where their name is announced. There are normally several names given to the baby from various family members. I was fortunate last year to get to photograph the naming ceremony for a special baby boy. He was long awaited, and it was sweet to celebrate once again with the I family on a special day. Here is the guest of honor:
